Kevin Xu is a senior patent attorney with more than a decade of experience. He has practiced at multiple global law firms and previously worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Kevin focuses on patent drafting and prosecution in the fields of artificial intelligence, software and business method applications, cybersecurity, and cloud backup. He has advised Fortune 50 companies, research universities, and startups on securing patent protection. Kevin also conducts validity, patentability, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, supporting strategic intellectual property decisions. He holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, is a registered U.S. patent attorney, and is admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
