From 250+ Startups to 10: Inside Ignite DeepTech’s Selection Day

What does it take to stand out among more than 250 startup applications?

At Ignite DeepTech’s Spring Cohort Selection Day, the answer was clear: bold ideas, strong execution, and founders determined to solve real-world challenges through breakthrough technology.

M&B IP Patent Firm’s Founder and Managing Partner, Michael Ben-Shimon, had the privilege of serving as a judge alongside more than 120 investors, entrepreneurs, mentors, and alumni who came together to select the 10 startups that will join Ignite’s Summer Cohort.

The event marked the culmination of a rigorous three-month evaluation process led by the Ignite DeepTech team. After carefully reviewing hundreds of applications, only the most promising companies advanced to pitch their vision, technology, and potential impact.

What made the day truly special wasn’t just the innovation on display—it was the people behind it. The room was filled with ambitious founders tackling some of the world’s toughest challenges across AI, cybersecurity, healthcare, and more.

For us, it was an inspiring reminder that the future is being built by entrepreneurs willing to think bigger, move faster, and challenge what’s possible.
