Michael Ben-Shimon will talk to Lehigh University Sophomores on patent law and professional development for engineers seeking to peruse career as patent practitioners. The presentation will take place on February 13, at the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Campus.

Michael is a tech and patent expert with over fifteen years of experience in IP management and monetization. He is responsible for developing IP strategies for multi-million dollar acquired start-up companies as well as for companies in various stages of development and financing. Michael’s high-tech research and development experience along with a computer science and physics education allows him to offer valuable insights into innovative technologies. Michael specializes in identifying, drafting, and prosecuting patent applications, as well as in evaluating IP assets in a variety of technology fields. Michael holds a BSc. in Computer Science and Physics and he is registered to practice before the USPTO.
